Dr. Daniel Voorhees
Dr. Daniel Voorhees was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, father, and uncle he went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. After dental school, he entered residency in the UCLA Orofacial Pain & Dysfunction program, where he trained to diagnose and treat TMJ disorders, neuropathic pain, headaches, and obstructive sleep apnea.
While getting patients out of pain was a rewarding experience for Dr. Voorhees, it did not fulfill his interests in the functional and esthetic side of dentistry. So, Dr. Voorhees entered a second residency at University of the Pacific in San Francisco where he graduated with a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. His residency training in orthodontics gave him the skills and confidence to treat more complex cases with traditional braces or clear aligners. After many years of school taking him all over the country, Dr. Voorhees is happy to return to his hometown to provide dental care for our community.
Dr. Voorhees met his wife, Dr. Tianne Voorhees, during their time in dental school. They have a one-year-old, Ellie, and a newborn, Townes. In his free time, Dr. Voorhees enjoys exercising, camping, and hunting.

Dr. Tianne Voorhees joined the Brilliant Smiles team in 2023, bringing with her knowledge of cutting-edge digital scanning and milling technology.
